March News:The esteemed American abstract artist and writer, Robert Motherwell said, “Art is much less important than life, but what a poor life without it.” I have often heard it said that art is the thing that lasts and there is a lot to that. We know many of the Impressionists but few could name the French political figures of that time.
It's a thrill to be an artist (when the paintings are flowing) and to create something lasting. It's also an honor to teach and pass on the knowledge I have been given and gathered to other artists. For the first time since covid, I will be teaching two workshops this May and one with Paula Hansen. More information follows below.
Robert Motherwell Port de Boston II, 1977 Acrylic, pasted canvas, and pasted papers on canvas mounted on board 36 x 24 inches Private collection
I'm happy to announce that a commission through Dominique Boisjoli Fine Art, Santa Fe was just competed and two other commissions are in progress, one for NY collectors and a 7 foot canvas for a Michigan hospital.
Thank you for interest in my works and your continuing inspiration...
